About David
I discovered Shiatsu around 15 years ago when I had successful treatments for back problems and fatigue. It helped me to realise how these physical problems were wrapped up in my life patterns and habits, and this supported me to make important changes for better health.
After 10 years of heavy academic work and generally being over-driven, Shiatsu has been a transformational process that has greatly helped me to get to know myself, develop embodied feeling, and learn to trust my inner body intelligence.
I have also found practices such as Qi Gong, yoga, dance, and somatic movement very valuable for connecting to my body and expressing myself.
I find doing Shiatsu immensely satisfying and fulfilling. I enjoy bringing my compassion and empathy, and relating to people in a truthful and authentic way as I witness their change and healing.
I have lived in the Falmouth area since 2017. I love living in Cornwall where I enjoy hiking, camping, surfing, cycling, and music events.
